Iron Tide Command
Iron Tide Command asks you to defend a stretch of coastline with limited resources, and it never lets you relax. It's real-time strategy trimmed down for touch: you drag units, set formations, and juggle supply lines while the pressure keeps building. The pacing is aggressive in the best way.
I appreciated how readable everything is. Even mid-battle with chaos on screen, the icons and unit outlines stay clear. The campaign teaches its systems slowly, so by the time you're managing three fronts at once, it feels earned rather than overwhelming.
This one runs warm and drinks battery when the action peaks, so I'd keep it plugged in for the harder missions. The controls are the standout, though. Pinch to zoom, drag to command, tap to focus fire, all of it responsive.
What we liked
- Clear, readable battlefield even in chaos
- Great tutorial pacing into deep systems
- Responsive touch controls for RTS
