Hollow Lantern

Hollow Lantern is quiet, spooky, and beautiful. You wander an abandoned town carrying a lantern, solving environmental puzzles by moving light around to reveal paths and hidden objects. There's barely any text, and the game trusts you to figure things out.

The atmosphere carried me through. Every room has a story told in objects and shadows, and I found myself lingering just to look around. Puzzles range from gentle to genuinely tricky, but they always feel fair once the logic clicks.

Controls are simple: tap to move, drag the lantern, pinch to inspect. It's a slow game, which is a compliment. On battery it sits in the middle, and the dark palette actually helps if your phone has an OLED screen. Play it at night with headphones.
